摘要：Com o avanço da tecnologia e do acesso à mídia, torna-se necessário inovar na educação, inclusive ambiental, para se atingir os objetivos propostos com uma clientela cada vez mais exigente. Estimular as múltiplas inteligências através dos mais variados meios de percepção dos sentidos, leva a interiorização de conceitos e concretização de atos, e a arte teatral possibilita tal aprendizado, enquanto ação e reação, emoção e conhecimento. A peça teatral “Educação x Destruição” transmite conhecimentos ambientais através de relatos de personagens, foi apresentada para alunos da Educação Infantil e do Ensino Fundamental (1º e 2º ciclos), na Escola Municipal Silvanira Acyoli Lins Penha e no Parque Municipal das Araucárias, Guarapuava, PR, abrangendo aproximadamente 300 pessoas. A participação do público/alunos demonstra ser o teatro uma ferramenta importante para sensibilização e percepção ambiental, transmitindo conhecimentos e valores na busca da formação de pessoas cidadãs. Abstract With the advance of technology and the access to information, it becomes necessary to innovate in education, including the environmental one, in order to reach the objectives proposed taking into account a kind of public more and more demanding. The stimulation of multiple intelligences through the most varied ways of senses perception, leads to the internalization of concepts and to the performance of factual acts, possibly reached through the theatrical art, while action and reaction, emotion and knowledge. The theatrical playt “Education x Destruction”, which conveys environmental information through the characters reports, was performed for students from Children’s and Basic Education (1st and 2nd cycles), in Silvanira Acyoli Lins Penha city school and in Araucarias Park - Guarapuava/PR , reaching approximately 300 people. The participation of the public/students in it shows that the theater is an important tool for environmental sensitization and perception, sharing knowledge and values looking forward the citizenship formation.
