摘要：The documentation of the Historical National Archive reveals that among 107 of the Bishops elected by Philip the III for the Castillian Crown, 67 were previously designated as short list of the Castillian Chamber and, in 30% of the cases, the King took no notice of suggestions and chose other candidates. The new bishops proceeded mainly from the Court, the Inquisition and the Religious Orders, but only the studies background of half of them are known. For the time being, it is not possible to prove by documents the influence Royal Confessors had in relation to appointment of Bishops.
