摘要：A indústria de transporte aéreo no Brasil cresceu muito nos últimos anos, mas este crescimento não foi acompanhado pela oferta de infraestrutura aeroportuária, resultando em superlotações nos terminais de passageiros e limitações a novos voos em diversos aeroportos. O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar as limitações e os problemas impostos pela falta de infraestrutura aeroportuária adequada, assim como suas perspectivas de solução. A principal conclusão é que mesmo que a expansão da infraestrutura aeroportuária seja significativa, as questões relativas ao valor econômico dos slots, a concentração de mercado e ao acesso de novas empresas aos aeroportos mais lucrativos continuarão necessitando de soluções regulatórias.↓The air transport industry in Brazil has experienced significantly growth during the past years. However this growth was not followed by the provision of the necessary infrastructure; resulting in overcrowded passengers terminal and limitations to new flights at several airports. The purpose of this study is to investigate the limitations and problems imposed by the lack of adequate airport infrastructure, and their prospects for solutions. The main conclusions is that even with a significant expansion of airport infrastructure, the issue of slot economic value, market concentration and access of new companies to most lucrative airports will still need regulatory solutions.
