    Eighty eight organic compounds, such as N -unsubstituted sulfenamides, N -aroyl or N -acylsulfenamides, 1, 4, 2-dithiazolium salts, 1, 2, 4-diserenalium salts, heterocyclic cation compounds, and their various related compounds were newly synthesized. We examined their antifogging ability for color film of silver halide photograph. As a result, we found some new lead compounds with high antifogging ability, and thus developed new type antifoggants superior to conventional ones having thiol structure.
