  • 摘要:

    To investigate the development process, we directly observed the developed grains and silver filaments of silver halide microcrystals using an in-lens FESEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope). This high-resolution FESEM made it possible to observe these small, developed grains (edge length:-0.3μ) and filaments (diameter:-200 Å) with the low accelerating voltage of 2 kV. Moreover, in order to prevent damage from light and heat, the specimens were not evaporated and were cooled to -120°C during observation.
