The method of designing a cavitation free propeller on the basis of the theory as expounded by the author is mentioned. According to the result obtained there, the distribution of the blade thickness should not be in the shape of a straight line but in the shape of concave curve, This fact fundamentally coincides with Manen & Troost's distribution of the blade thickness.
