摘要:Following the result in the previous papers that the mechanism of reduction sensitization depends upon the nature of silver halide grains, the present investigation has been undertaken to observe photographic sensitizing and desensitizing phenomena of various silver halide grains by electron traps, such as sensitivity centers formed during sulfur sensitization, gold sensitization and reduction sensitization, and desensitizing dyes, etc. It, has been shown that the degree of sensitization by electron traps increases with increasing the ratio of internal speeds to surface speeds of primitive grains. Discussions have been made on the mechanism of photographic sensitizing and desensitizing phenomana of silver halide grains by various electron traps.
