摘要:The aim of this study was to describe the experience of students from the Dentistry course, who, through the use of active methodologies, developed and presented a live on Teleodontology during the curricular component Information and Communication Technology in Dentistry (TICO) at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, referring to the classes and activities proposed in the TICO course, which took place in the second semester of 2021. In order to work on the theme about Tele Dentistry and to encourage the direct participation of students in the construction of their learning, a live was proposed. During the entire production process of the activity, it was necessary for the students to prospect autonomy. In this sense, the active methodologies were used as incentive mechanisms in the teaching-learning dynamic. Initially, there was a need for familiarization with search tools and their use, and through these, bibliographic research was carried out to deepen the theme. Moreover, the development of this product has directly contributed to the academic insertion in the scientific field, allowing the construction of a critical and reflexive look. At the end of the live telemedicine project, it can be seen that the results and objectives achieved were consistent with the development of competencies for the professional training of students, which were provided by the use of active methodologies.
