摘要:The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of the time of embryo transfer, the stage of development and the quality of the transferred embryos, the processing of embryos, from the ipsilateral ovary to the corpus luteum and the size of the corpus luteum, on the pregnancy rate of recipients for in vitro produced bovine embryos from beef and dairy cattle breeds. For this purpose, retrospective data from 419 transfers of in vitro produced bovine embryos were used, 245 from beef cattle breeds and 174 from dairy cattle breeds, between February and November 2021. The pregnancy rate was calculated considering the effects of the time of embryo transfer to recipients, the stage of embryonic development, the quality and processing of the embryo, the ovary ipsilateral to the corpus luteum and the size of the corpus luteum. Mean percentages were compared by using chi-square, using the SAS statistical package version 9.2, considering 5% significance (p<0.05). The 419 transfers of in vitro produced embryos resulted in 29.04% of pregnancy. There was no influence of the timing of embryo transfer to recipients, the stage of embryo development, the ipsilateral ovary to the corpus luteum and the size of the corpus luteum on the pregnancy rate of recipients after transfer of in vitro produced embryos from beef and dairy cattle breeds (p>0.05). However, the quality and processing of in vitro produced embryos exerted effects on the pregnancy rate after embryo transfer from beef and dairy cattle breeds (p<0.05).
