摘要:Anxiety is a normal emotion. Understanding of anxiety gets as prepared to do somewhat significant or to do at our greatest in these circumstances. Stress is defined as “a state of psychological and physiological imbalance resulting from the disparity between situational demand and therefore the individual’s ability and motivation to satisfy those needs.” Adolescent may be interim period of physical and psychological progress that normally happens during the stage from teens to adulthood. Board examination denote to the public examinations that happen at the finish of the 10th standard (SSLC) or at the end of the 12th standard (HSC). Statement of the problem: To assess the level of anxiety and perceived stress among board examination going adolescents at Bharathiyar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Guduvancheri, Chengalpattu District. To assess, core late and associate the level of anxiety and perceived stress among board examination going adolescents. Methodology: Research approach was quantitative and design was Descriptive design. A sum of 100 going board exam adolescent samples were carefully chosen by means of non-probability convenient sampling technique. The instrument of the study encompasses of 3 Parts, Part A –Demographic Information Part B - : A standardized five point rating Westside Test Anxiety Scale and Part C - A standardized five point rating Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) was used. Collected data were evaluated with descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The analysis reveals that majority 39 adolescents (39%) have moderate anxiety , majority 72 adolescents (72%) have mild perceived stress and and significant correlation found between anxiety and perceived stress among board examination going adolescents.
