摘要:This study was to see effect of providing education with interpersonal communication on knowledge, attitudes, and actions of pregnant women in Tawaeli receive tetanus toxoid vaccination, Palu, Central Sulawesi Province. Theresearch used a quasi-experimental design. As the intervention group, there were 22 pregnant women (second trimester)in Tawaelihealth centre and the control group there were 22 pregnant women (second trimester) in Pantoloan health centre. This study used interpersonal communication and TT Immunization pocketbook intervention (intervention group), while pocketbook (control group). The study results showed that providing education with interpersonal communication and TT immunisation pocketbooks for pregnant women on maternal knowledge (p=0.028). After the intervention was given, there was an effect of providing education with interpersonal communication and TT immunisation pocketbooks for pregnant women on the attitudes of pregnant women (p=0.013). There was an effect of providing education with interpersonal communication and TT immunisation pocketbook for pregnant women on the behaviour of pregnant women (p=0.001). Compared to the intervention, pregnant women who did TT immunisation in the intervention group experienced a significant increase, 100%, while only 54.5% in the control group. There was an effect of providing education with interpersonal communication and TT immunisation pocketbooks for pregnant women on pregnant women's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour between the intervention and control groups.This study provides essential information that providing education with interpersonal communication and TT immunisation pocketbooks for pregnant women can increase knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour.
