摘要：Education has a critical role in bringing about change and advancement in our culture, community, or country. The current educational system has undergone repeated changes in order to satisfy new societal and global needs and problems. To begin, we must help pupils improve their English language abilities. Wherever English is taught and spoken as a first or second language, it is the most important aspect in the educational system. As a result, language acquisition has become very crucial, particularly for students at all levels. A similar situation exists in India, where a considerable amount of courses in universities, particularly those in the sciences, engineering, and management, are taught in English. A high degree of English proficiency serves as a passport to the most coveted professions like as civil services, medicine, engineering, and management, since competitive exams such as IAS, PCS, and other entrance examinations are conducted in English. The main aim of the study is to find out the level of interest in learning, teacher motivation, communication behaviour, and English language spoken skills of higher secondary school students and to measure the relationship between the interest in learning, teacher motivation, communication behaviour, and English language spoken skills of higher secondary school students .This is qualitative study – made in Namakkal District – 300 sample respondents taken from private higher secondary school – purposive sampling technique – to find the relationship between the interest in learning, teacher motivation, English language spoken skills, and communication behaviour of higher secondary school students, correlation is used. The researcher concluded that the factors interest in teach the English, teachers motivation, communication behaviour and the English spoken skill are having good relationship.
