摘要:The role of women in household welfare is identified as an important factor in a progressive society. The prime objective of this research study was to investigate the socio-economic impact of female education on household wellbeing. There are evidences that education has positive and significant impact to increase the household welfare in many aspects and provides an optimal solution in changing society. This present sociological study (cross-sectional) was conducted in district Faisalabad using multistage sampling technique. Face to face interviews of 120 female were administrated to collect primary data from the rural areas. The descriptive statistics and empirical model (multiple regression model) were used to analyze the data. The study concludes that role of female education is critical in household welfare due to large family size and limited resources. The results obtained from the multiple regression model has revealed that the age, income, education and family size of the respondents were significantly associated and influenced the different aspects household welfare. There is need to enhance the role of women in household welfare according to the cultural and social background of the society. The study suggests that government should adopt a holistic approach to address the challenges at micro and macro level as household welfare is an important aspect.
