标题：AWARENESS ON INVESTING PROCEDURES AMONG DENTAL STUDENTS

摘要：INTRODUCTION: Investing materials may be used to create a mould for casting molten metal or alloy. High temperatures are not a problem for these materials. Refractory materials are another term for them. Refractory steel, binder material, and other chemical materials are widely used in investment. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Self-administered questionnaire of close-ended questions was prepared and it was distributed among dental students from February to April 2021 through the online survey “google forms”. The collected data were checked regularly for clarity, competence, consistency, accuracy and validity. Demographic details were also included in the questionnaire. RESULTS: In the present study, the questionnaire was distributed among 100 dental students and among them 21% were first year students, 42% were second year students, 28% were third year students and 9% were fourth year students. Nearly 57% of the respondents were male and 43% were female respondents. The p value was calculated in SPSS software and it is proved to be statistically significant CONCLUSION: This study concludes that most of the participants were aware of the investing procedures in dentistry. Even Though there is good knowledge about the investing procedures but less practical experience. Educational programmes can include investing procedures.
