摘要:Reading gets less attention from teachers at schools and parents of students. Even though students are already faced with the material of communicating personal opinions about the contents of literary books in writing supported by reasons. For this reason, teacher attention and guidance are needed so that the expected competencies can be achieved. The purpose of the study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the storybook reading-based early reading learning model in elementary school. Method: This type of research is research and development (R&D). Result: The storybook learning model has met the level of authenticity. The level of authenticity of the teacher's book for early reading learning based on storybook reading is in the valid category. The level of validity of the teacher's book and the student's book for early reading learning based on storybook reading is in the valid category. The level of practicality of the teacher's book and the student's book for early reading learning based on storybook reading is in the practical category. The level of effectiveness of the storybook learning model obtained from the class IA learning outcomes is categorized as effective. Conclusion: After the t-test was carried out, it was concluded that the learning outcomes of students in storybook material were given using a storybook learning model that was more valid, practical, and effective in the learning process in elementary school.
