摘要：A typical propulsor has been used to bring together the flapping and stable lifting surfaces of nature and engineering underwater propulsion devices. The finding of overlap in the mechanisms in propulsion density versus displacement volume from 0.1 to 1 m points to the practicality of the concept's design. Natural and manmade flyers also have this kind of similarity. There is a new propulsor with a diameter of 0.7 metres that has been created with fins that can be twisted throughout their span of rotation.
