  • 摘要:This article discusses study about the higher secondary school (HSS) student’s educational achievement in commerce depends on studious engagement. Success in commerce and Academic Engagement Scale were constructed and validated via an examiner. The data consists of 580 HSS students studying in Salem District in Tamilnadu, India have been administrated to a simple sampling technique. It is concluded that the level of achievement in commerce and academic engagement of HSS students are average. The differ significantly in the educational achievement of commerce HSS students with respected to their gender and student residence, the differ significantly in the educational engagement of HSS students with respected to their sexual category and student residence and there is considerable and optimistic association between studious achievement of commerce and academic engagement of HSS students.
