摘要：A linguagem é um conjunto multimodal, intrinsecamente relacionada à constituição psíquica e pode ser avaliada por outros elementos, além da fala. Objetiva-se discutir os efeitos dos gestos do bebê e da atividade interpretativa do cuidador no processo de aquisição da linguagem em bebês com histórico de internação neonatal. Estudo exploratório, qualitativo e retrospectivo. Amostra composta por quatro díades cuidador-bebê, com histórico de internação neonatal. Dados coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e videogravações. Os resultados indicam que a atenção à produção gestual, à interação cuidador-bebê e à função do cuidador como signifi cador das produções infantis auxiliam o acompanhamento e a avaliação do processo de aquisição de linguagem.
其他摘要：Language is a multimodal set, intrinsically related to the psychic constitution and can be evaluated by elements other than speech. The objective is to discuss the eff ects of the baby gestures and the caregiver interpretive activity on the language acquisition process in babies with a history of neonatal hospitalization. Exploratory, qualitative and retrospective study. Sample composed of four caregiver-baby dyads, with history of neonatal hospitalization. Data collected through semi-structured interviews and video recordings. The results indicate that the attention to gestural production, the caregiver-baby interaction and the caregiver function as a signifi er of the children’s productions help the monitoring and the evaluation of the language acquisition process.
