摘要：本研究の目的は，子どもの制御焦点を測定することのできる尺度を，RFQ （Regulatory Focus Questionnaire）とPPFS （Promotion/Prevention Focus Scale）に基づいて開発し，各尺度の特徴を見出すことであった。小学生と中学生699名を対象に調査研究を実施した。因子分析の結果，子どもの制御焦点は，促進焦点と防止焦点から構成されていることが示された。さらに，促進焦点，防止焦点と行動抑制系（BIS），行動賦活系（BAS），遂行接近目標，遂行回避目標との関連を検討したところ本研究の仮説に沿った結果を確認することができた。以上の結果は，子ども用制御焦点尺度が一定程度の信頼性と妥当性を備えていることを示していた。また，RFQに基づく尺度とPPFSに基づく尺度の差異についても考察を行った。.
其他摘要：The present study aimed to develop a Regulatory Focus Scale for Children based on the Regulatory Focus Questionnaire (RFQ) and Promotion/Prevention Focus Scale (PPFS) and to determine the characteristics and structure of the scale. Elementary and junior high school students (N = 699) completed the questionnaire. Factor analysis indicated that regulatory focus comprises two factors, promotion focus and prevention focus. Examination of the relationships between promotion focus and prevention focus and with the Behavioral Inhibition System (BIS), Behavioral Activation System (BAS), performance approach goal, and performance avoidance goal supports the study hypothesis. We conclude that the Regulatory Focus Scale for Children is a reliable and valid instrument that successfully applies regulatory focus theory.
