摘要:This study aims to determine student’s learning interest toward learning strategies based humor on genetic subject. This research is pra-experimental design with the entire population of students on grade XII SMA Negeri 11 Makassar in school year 2016-2017. Population of this study is the entire of grade XII MIA that consist of 7 classes while by using random sampling technique, the selected sample was grade XII MIA1 with totally 36 students. Learning interest questionnaire was used as data instrument with pretest-posttest as data collection technique. While data analysis techniques that used in this study are inferential statistical analysis data used paired sample t-test and descriptive statistical analysis data using the n-gain. Based on the inferential analysis t-test is known that there is a significant change (increased) in the interest of student learning before and after taught using learning strategies based humor, as well as the n-gain values shown that improvement of learning interest of MIA1 is on medium and high category by 29 students (80.6%).
