摘要:To claim that churches and church projects might result in safe spaces for people in complicated life situations too often (unconsciously or consciously) leads to the tendency of churchification. The article presents a case study from ministries doing inclusive projects for Congolese refugees in Pietermaritzburg,South Africa. Introducing the concept of “heterotopic ecclesiology” the aim is to present a critical assessment of what it means that churches make safe spaces. The most interesting might be that new spaces are created.
