摘要:Digital dentistry allowed the dental surgeon to perform dental procedures, in a different way, in the different specialties. In implantology, we can highlight guided surgery, which is performed after virtual planning, where the oral scanning with the patient's tomography is planned, using software. In this way, a surgical guide can be made using a 3D printer. The speed and precision of implant installation are the main advantages of this procedure, in addition to a more comfortable postoperative period for the patient, when the technique is performed without flaps (flapless). Therefore, this work aims to demonstrate to professionals in the area, the technique of guided surgery for dental implants, using virtual planning. The procedure was performed in a 66-year-old patient, in the maxillary premolar region, through digital planning, and an implant was installed using the SIN guided implant system. It was concluded that the guided surgery technique is a favorable technique, which provided greater speed, precision and faster recovery of the patient.
