摘要:This article is the realization of a research which object of study is the insertion of gamified applications in the educational scope and was guided by the question: what is the impact of the use of gamified activities in the context of Emergency Remote Teaching Searching to answer the question, the investigation was developed according to the assumptions of qualitative research and descriptive study, aiming to understand the use of gamification in Emergency Remote Teaching as a didactic-pedagogical resource in the development of Portuguese Language classes in the 8th year of a private school in Aracaju, SE. As for the instruments, we adopted the observation of the virtual classroom and the online interview. Data analysis was performed from the perspective of Bardin (2016) content analysis. As a result, the research showed that, despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic situation, the inclusion of gamified activities in Portuguese Language classes encouraged the participation of 8th grade students, enhancing the process of teaching and learning the mother tongue in Emergency Remote Teaching.
