摘要:Introduction: Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of non-progressive childhood neurological disorders that affect children and newborns, being the most common cause of disability in childhood. There are several treatments that can improve the quality of life for patients, but there are few treatments that focus on the structures around the lesion. Non-invasive Neuromodulation (NMNI) has been considered an innovative technology with beneficial results in neurological disorders, through the techniques Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (TDCS) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Objective: To analyze through published works whether the NMNI has the capacity to potentiate neuroplasticity in patients with CP. Method: This work used the integrative review method using keywords “Continuous Transcranial Current Smulation”, “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulaton”, “Repetitive Trascranial Magnetic Stimulaton”, “Cerebral Palsy”, “Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation” and “Cerebral Palsy”. The surveys were selected between the year 2016 and 2021 in the PubMED, Google Scholar and Virtual Health Library (BVS) databases. Results: NMNI is used as a treatment associated with another technique, having results in the increase and decrease of brain waves, improving gait speed and quality, balance, mobility, cognition, language, spasticity reduction, potentiating the effects for longer. Conclusion: NMNI through TDCS and TMS is able to prolong the effects obtained when associated with another technique, having repercussions on the functional and cognitive capacity of patients with CP, studies are still recent, especially when the target group is children, but studies have shown benefits.
