摘要:The present study aimed to estimate the temporal trend of mortality from malignant neoplasms of female genital organs in Brazil and its regions from 1980 to 2019. This is an ecological time series study using public databases. Data were collected from the Mortality Information System (SIM/DATASUS). Data were estimated by maximum, minimum statistics, standard deviation and standard data. The standard mortality rate (SMR) was projected by the direct method and this was for a measurement estimate used through the linear regression with correction of Prais-Winsten. Brazil presented over the 40 years 376,085 deaths from malignant neoplasms of female genitalia. Among the regions of the country, the Southeast presented 46.8% (n=175,823) of total deaths, followed by the Northeast with 22.8% (n=85,590). The temporal trend in the North and Northeast was of growth with Annual Percent Change - APC=0.29 and 0.90% (p<0.01), respectively. The South, Southeast, Midwest and Brazil showed an increasing trend with APC=-1.02, -1.50, -1.01 and -0.57% (p<0.001), respectively. The present study showed a high rate of mortality from cancers of the female genital organs. The Southeast region predominates with the highest number of deaths, followed by the Northeast. The trend in Brazil and in the Southeast, South and Central-West regions was a decrease, while in the North and Northeast it was an increase.
