摘要:Objective: To analyze a market environment and fairground from Florence Nightingale's Environmental Theory. Methodology: Exploratory-descriptive study, based on a single case study. It was carried out in a municipal market located in the Pará Amazon. The spaces to be investigated were delimited through the architectural map of the market complex, which involves the main building of the Market and the fair, in addition to the attached building facilities. The techniques used were the field diary, visual anthropology and non-participant observation, and the results were analyzed in the light of the Environmental Theory. Results: Three key elements that defined the dynamics of the fair were identified: Physical infrastructure, social interactions and territory. Final considerations: The environments had implications for the health of the collective related to the environmental and social dynamics of fairs, related to deficits in solid waste disposal services and heritage maintenance inherent to space management and health risk.
