标题：A construo histórica da Psicologia no Estado da Bahia

摘要：This article aims to highlight the history of Psychology in Bahia, and its importance for the History of Brazilian Psychology. In this study, a bibliographical research or secondary research sources was carried out, based on historical studies on the history of Psychology in Bahia and a documentary research or primary sources of legislation that regulates the profession in the national territory, in the Professional Councils for guide and supervise professionals. Some of the authors used in this study were: Jacó-Vilela (2017, 2011), Antunes (1998), Bock (1999), Bueno (2019), Carvalho (1998), Centofanti (1982), Loureno Filho (1971), Oda and Dalgalarrondo (2005), Pessotti (1998) and Rios (2008, 2006). The first period addresses the process of discovering Brazil from Bahia and the creation of colonies that presented psychological phenomena. In the second period, there is the creation of the Faculty of Medicine of Bahia and its theses on psychological processes. The third period shows the creation of Psychology Institutes in Bahia universities and the fourth and last period presents Psychology in Bahia, from the regulation of the profession by Law No. 4,119, from August 27, 1962 to the present day. This study highlights people who articulated and engaged in consolidating professional training in the state and reveals that the contributions of researchers on psychological, behavioral and social phenomena shaped the teaching and learning process over the years necessary for the professional consolidation of psychologist from Bahia.
