摘要:In this paper, a new thermal model (after assuming temperatures of east and west side glass covers equal to their average temperature) and characteristics of double slope solar still (DSSS) have been developed. Experimental and theoretical results have been compared for the composite climate of New Delhi, India. Theoretical results obtained by previous and new thermal models of DSSS have been found in fair agreements with experimental observations. The characteristics have been developed under quasi-steady state of the solar still by linear and non-linear regression curves between daylight instantaneous gain/loss efficiencies and factor () () wEW a s E s W T T It It .
