摘要：In European countries, SMEs are considered the engine of economic growth. The aim of this research is to connect the financial behavior and characteristics of SMEs to financing resources, by conducting a detailed study of the literature in the field. Thus, we will be able to improve the access to financing and to analyze the problems that this sector faces in accessing this financing, especially in conditions of competitiveness. One of the reasons that led me to research this topic is the importance of small and medium enterprises in a country's economy, making a significant contribution to creating added value and creating new jobs. The importance and topicality of the topic is highlighted by the role of SMEs in the private sector in both developed and developing countries.
