标题:Relación entre la práctica deportiva y las dimensiones del autoconcepto en función del género y la especialidad que cursan los estudiantes de los grados de magisterio
摘要:The aim of this work is to test the relationship between the hours of practice weekly sports and the dimensions of self-concept in future kindergarten and primary teachers. The García and Musitu (1999) self-concept and form questionnaire (AF5) has been applied on-line to a sample of N = 70 teachers´ degree university student in the grades of kindergarten and elementary education of an Andalusian University. Data from the study variables are presented in Charts Sectors, Box -Plot and Scatter. To check the internal consistency of the AF5 the statistical Cronbach's alpha has been applied with satisfactory results. In order to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship the statistical Mann-Whitney U test and Pearson correlation was applied. The results indicate that the physical dimension of self-concept is positively correlated with the hours of sports, the boys and students of grade score higher and it is significantly correlated with the academic, social and family size. It also presents significant relationships with the Academic Social Dimension and the Social with the Family.
