摘要:The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of the educational level of parents on the volume of physical activity practice in children in early childhood education. We selected 179 students from 3 to 6 years of age (4.08 ± 0.83 years of age, 106.84 ± 8.96 cm of height and 18.84 ± 4.13 kg of weight). The educational level of the parents was determined by classifying them as low, medium or high; and if it was the same or different between the two. In turn, the volume of physical activity practice of the children was determined in total minutes, differentiating between weekdays, weekends. The results show that there are no differences in the volume of physical activity according to the educational level, but that there is a tendency to be greater, when the educational level of the parents is higher, mainly in the volume of physical activity developed during the end of week. If both parents have the same or different educational levels it does not affect the volume of physical activity practice. It is considered necessary to continue deepening the influence that the family can have on healthy aspects such as the practice of physical activity.
