摘要:This study describes the guideline to build a user interface of a mobile Augmented Reality (AR) learning application, called BADANKU, for children with learning disabilities. Premised in this context, the researchers examined several guidelines for the design of user interfaces for users with disabilities, which have been reported in the current literature. Virtually, all guidelines reviewed have the same emphasis on the proper use of multimedia elements (notably texts, graphics, audios, and videos), fonts, icons, and their combinations that will have a profound impact on student learning. As such, the findings of this research will be used as the guideline for the researchers to develop the proposed user interface of a mobile AR learning application by focusing on relevant multimedia elements in a proper combination that can facilitate the learning process (which is dictated by the learning context) to ensure such children can read and understand information more efficaciously.
