摘要:The study analyzed the relationships between talent development, perceived organizational support and employee engagement among employees at Malaysian government-linked companies (GLCs). Questionnaires were distributed and gathered from 164 employees at 47 GLCs and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique was used to test the research hypotheses. The findings discovered that all the hypotheses proposed in this study are supported. There were significant and positive relationships between talent development, perceived organizational support and employee engagement (vigor, dedication, absorption), and perceived organizational support significantly mediates between talent development and employee engagement. The results of the study suggest that talent development activities are crucial in improving the level of employee engagement at the workplace, which subsequently enable companies to sustain high productivity and gain competitive advantage.
