摘要:Iris recognition or iris scanning is the process of using visible and near-infrared light to take a high-contrast photograph of a person’s iris. It is a form of biometric technology in the same category as face recognition and fingerprinting. The iris recognition system consists of an automatic segmentation system that is based on the Hough transform and is able to localize the circular iris and pupil region. The extracted iris region was then normalized into a rectangular block with constant dimensions to account for imaging inconsistencies. Data from 1D Log-Gabor filters was extracted and quantized to four levels. Finally, PCA is used to encode the unique pattern of the iris into a bitwise biometric template. And finally, iris recognition is employed for classification of iris templates, and two templates were found to match if a test of statistical independence was failed. Therefore, iris recognition is shown to be a reliable and accurate biometric technology. Using PCA we have achieved 95% of accuracy with high speed. Execution time is 0.082 sec respectively towards identification of the person will indicates the performance of the system.
