摘要:This study examines the influence of entrepreneurship education (communication skills, technical knowledge and innovation) on students’ view on self-employment. It is a proposed conceptual model, which was empirically tested. A questionnaire survey was administered to 260 postgraduate students in Universiti Utara Malaysia and both descriptive and regression analysis, as statistical tool, was used to analyse the data and test the hypothesis that students’ view is impacted by entrepreneurship education. The results show that entrepreneurship education namely technical knowledge and innovation, influence students’ view on self-employment. However, in contrast to prediction, the result shows an insignificant relationship between communication skills and views on self-employment. Based on the results, it is recommended that educators and policymakers should prioritize technical knowledge and innovation to enhance nascent entrepreneurs’ performance, which encompasses people of diverse ethnicity as revealed in the study.
