摘要：We are in the midst of a third wave of COVID-19. In countries able to access vaccines, morbidity and mortality rates have fallen. But in Africa, where less than 3 percent of the population is fully vaccinated, the number of cases per week is at record highs. As of November 3, 2021, there were 8.5 million confirmed cases and over 218,000 COVID-19 fatalities across the continent.
