摘要:The performance of any industrial enterprise is of considerable importance for its long-term success and sustainable prosperity, but it cannot be considered as a certain and universal dimension.Business performance can be evaluated from different perspectives and with a focus on different aspects of performance.The main aim of the paper is to present the relationships between the perceived sustainable organizational and market performance of industrial enterprises and to compare the differences in the perception of selected performance indicators with respect to different generations of employees in industrial enterprises in Slovakia.To carry out the research, a research questionnaire was distributed to managers, specialists, and employees at administrative positions in industrial enterprises.In total, n = 903 respondents, employees of industrial enterprises operating in Slovakia were involved in the research.For the purposes of the research, two research questions and two research hypotheses were set.The research results proved a significant relationship between the perceived level of development of new products, services, or programs and profitability and also proved a significant relationship between perceived quality of products, services, or programs and profitability.The results of the research can be used to improve the evaluation of the sustainable organizational and market performance of the organizations and to improve human resource management with a focus on the coexistence of various generations of employees.
