摘要:AbstractThis paper studied the effectiveness of a slaughterhouse wastewater treatment plant. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the slaughterhouse effluent treatment plant (SETP) in eliminating impurities, as well as the variables that affect performance. The SETP consisted of a dissolved air floatation (DAF) system with an up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor followed by two activated sludge processessing (ASP) stages. The removal efficiencies of chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), and total suspended solids (TSS) were 74.7%, 76.8%, and 90.14%, respectively. The study proposes constructing a tertiary treatment facility, installing two dung squeezers, and commissioning the UASB.
