  • 摘要:Alluvial rivers have different patterns and fol-low their own laws in terms of river bed form, sed-iment movement and river evolution. Due to the different influences on human, the governing prin-ciples and specific engineering measures are also very different. First, on the basis of extensive re-search, this article analyzes the causes of river winding from a microscopic point of view and puts forward the influencing factors of different river forms. In addition, through the large flume experi-ment, the development process of the sedimentation area with the change of the river type was studied, and the following four conclusions were drawn: 1)The sediment deposition process is fan-shaped expansion;2)The wandering frequency and ampli-tude increase with the increase of the flow rate;3)As the pattern changes, rivers develop alternately, forming a stable, unstable and extremely unstable law.;4)River is easy to change when the ratio of transverse and longitudinal gradient exceeds two. This paper has focused on the discriminant index of river transformation. The study on the evolution of river patterns and the discriminant indicators has not only theoretical but also practical significance.
