摘要:The Low Impact Development (LID) concept is a new strategy for urban water environmental pro- tection and sustainable development of stormwater management worldwide. The LID plays a pivotal role in relieving urban floods and promoting sustain-able urban development. Firstly, this paper clarifies the basic concept, measuring methods and applica- tion status of LID. and then, a residential quarter was chosen as a typical application case study for LID development and application. Finally, the visibleLID development and utilization effect simulation was established by using Storm Water Management Model (SWMM). Results show that the LID is an ef- fective strategy to retain, infiltrate and disperse rain- water before a flood peak, it can also effectively de- lay the formation of flood peak and weaken the im-pact of rainwater, which can provide some guidance for promoting sustainable urban development.
