  • 摘要:AbstractThe digital twin is an increasingly popular concept with broad applications in industrial plants, such as fault-diagnosis and optimization. A central element in such digital twins is an online simulation. One key-challange with current online simulations lies in the synchronization of the plant and the simulation, as in industrial applications, simulation models will never be fully accurate. Reasons for this include not only simplifications during modelling but also aging of the physical plant. Therefore, this paper presents an improvement of the previously developedstate synchronizationmethodology to perform the synchronization of online simulations in real-time. The methodology is based on dynamic optimization and includes measures to speed up the performance. We successfully validated our methodology using a real motor demonstration setup. Various scenarios were performed for validation and the real-time capabilities confirmed.
