  • 摘要:Bonding is used widely when the optical glasses are connected with metal structures. It plays a very important role in the design of space telescope. Improper bonding may induce great surface figure error for optics in telescope. Milbond and EC2216 are the most popular epoxies that are used in optics. Bubbles usually exist in the epoxy when two components are mixed or translated to syringe. In this paper, the methods and experiments of adhesive mixture and injection in vacuum environment were explained to reduce the bonding surface figure of the mirror. The results show that adhesive mixture and injection in vacuum environment can dramatically decrease the bubble in the epoxy and greatly reduce the bonding surface figure error.
