摘要:White sugar is a strategic commodity that isdistributed within traditional market in Indonesia. We proposean integrated supply chain model of regionalization distributionand network optimization of traditional market white crystalsugar commodity. The supply chain total cost is defined as theperformance criteria for the developed Mixed-Integer LinearProgramming (MILP) model. From the experimental result,our proposed model successfully reduces the total supply chaincosts by 31% compared with the existing condition of thetraditional market distribution network after considering 11%increase of warehouse capacity This even lower or morecompetitive than the existing modern markets distributionnetwork. From the sensitivity analysis, it is found that fixedcost and the increase of demand are insensitive to modelsolution. On the other hand, handling cost and the decrease ofdemand are sensitive with moderate degree of influence, tochange the decision to close existing facilities, wheretransportation cost is sensitive with moderate degree ofinfluence, to change the decision to open a new facility. Onextreme condition, the increase in warehouse capacity is verysensitive, to change the decision to close existing facilities. Witha 67% increase in distributor warehouse capacity, it willdramatically eliminate sub distributors in all regions.
