摘要:AbstractThis paper addresses the vibration control of seismic-excited building structures in the presence of input time-delay. The control scheme is based on a prediction approach for input delay compensation andH∞theory. The prediction scheme, which relies on state observers, is tuned by means of the optimization of the smoothed spectral abscissa, that is a suitable robust stability measure since it provides a trade-off between the optimization of the spectral abscissa and theH∞norm of the system. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is illustrated with simulation results of a reduced scale two-storey building structure.
