摘要：To increase the strength, reliability, durability of the cutting tool, various wear-resistant coatings are applied to its cutting part. At the same time, under cutting conditions, it is necessary to ensure a high degree of adhesion of the coating to this part of the tool. The paper presents theoretical aspects that make it possible to select the operating modes of the tool that preserve the integrity of the “coating-base” system.
