摘要:This paper presents a study on the mechanical properties of the continuous basalt fibre (CBF) engineered cementitious composite (CBF-ECC) with different mix proportions. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influences of CBF content, water-binder ratio, and fly ash content on the mechanical properties of CBF-ECC. A series of investigations have been carried out to determine the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, and static modulus of elasticity of the CBF-ECC mixtures. The experimental results show that incorporating CBF in ECC can significantly increase the tensile strength and the toughness. Compared to the control specimens, the splitting tensile strength and the flexural strength with CBF can increase 28% and 47%, respectively. CBF has little effect on the compressive strength of ECC matrix. In addition, the optimal fly ash content and water-binder ratio of ECC are at 50% and 0.28, respectively.
