摘要:This paper examined the effects of comprehensive learning strategies on learning English words. We encouraged first year, middle school students to use organization strategies when learning English words. Students who normally use various learning strategies have a tendency to use them actively after they are taught new learning strategies. However, students who do not use many learning strategies tend to continue to use their favorite strategies even after they are taught organization strategies. Nevertheless, the findings showed that teaching learning strategies facilitates students' use of new learning strategies.
