摘要：The main objective of this work is to split the video into multipleparts and send each part over a different path based on the amountof traffc in each path. Traditionally UDP protocols were being usedfor the transmission since they do not have acknowledgements.ÚDP is used since real time traffc uses RTP protocol for multimediatransmission. TCP is a connection oriented protocol not suited fordelay sensitive transmissions .In this paper, the TCP protocol hasbeen modifed with an effcient congestion control algorithm. Inthis algorithm, the congestion window limit is determined based onthe four parameters like short term throughput, packet out of orderarrival, inter-arrival time and packet loss ratio. The performancestudy has been done with these UDP and Modifed TCP protocolsby multipath multicasting video over MANETS.
