摘要:TCP attacks are the major problem faced by Mobile Ad-HocNetworks (MANETs) due to its limited network and host resources.Attacker traceback is a promising solution in MAITH Environmentwhich allows a victim to identify the exact location of the attackerand hence enables the victim to take proper countermeasure nearattack origins, for forensics and to discourage attackers fromlaunching the attacks. While most of the existing studies onselective forwarding attacks focus on attack detection under theassumption of an error-free wireless channel,we consider a morepractical and challenging scenario that packetdropping may bedue to an attack, or normal loss events such as medium accesscollision or bad channel quality. However, attacker tracebackin MANET is a challenging problem due to dynamic networktopology, limited network and host resources such as memory,bandwidth and battery life. We introduce a novel method of TCPattacker Identification in MANET by combining MAITH methodwith a Channel aware approach. Based on the comprehensiveevaluationbased on simulations, we showed that MAITH cansuccessfully track down the attacker under diverse mobile multihop network environment with low communication, computation,and memory overhead.
