摘要：Information technology has become a necessary tool for today’s organizations and banking industry is not an exception. Internet banking is modern technology based computerized system of providing banking systems to client with low cost and quick services. Though Bangladesh was comparatively a late adoptee but now almost all the banks are providing internet banking to their customers. But what is striking is the lack of comprehensive study of internet banking covering organizational and operational sides and exhaustive study as to problem and prospects. Considering the importance of internet banking this study was taken up. The main objectives of this study were to evaluate internet banking structure, operations and to examine the bankers’ (Service Providers) perception towards internet banking in Bangladesh. There are 25 banks were selected for intensive study.
